It’s nearly two years since we photographed Clare and Adam’s wedding at Crockwell Farm in Eydon, near Daventry. In the meantime, we’ve seen the two of them at a whole host of weddings, most of which we were photographing on their recommendation. We’re not finished either as, despite now living in Teesside in the Northeast of England, we’re travelling back to Northants next week for a wedding and we’ve got two more of their referrals in 2015. We love catching up with old friends and are more than happy to travel.

With that in mind, Alison and I had been looking for a way to thank Clare and Adam for their part in our East Midlands success and after a late night chat with the pair of them (you guessed it – at a wedding), we came up with the idea of a Trash the Dress photoshoot. Alternatively known as Rock the Frock or Cherish the Dress, this shoot entailed Clare getting back into her wedding dress and Adam following Irving Berlin’s advice by putting on the proverbial top hat and brushin’ off the tails. Now mix their rather elegant attire with the stark beauty of a Teesside landscape and you’re left with the two of them,

“…..steppin’ out, my dear
To breathe an atmosphere
That simply reeks with class…”

Looking forward to bumping into Clare and Adam on our further adventures.
